Selection Process
| Stage 1: Desk Evaluation and GMST/SAT score | |

| Desk Evaluation | Applicants are required to complete the online registration through um.ugm.ac.id in accordance with the official IUP admission schedule and submit all required application documents. All submitted documents, including academic records, SAT certificate (if any), and proof of English proficiency, will be reviewed by the selection committee as part of the Desk Evaluation. |
| Regarding English proficiency, applicants are required to upload a recognized English proficiency certificate. Applicants who wish to take the AcEPT test may still do so, while those who choose not to take the test may proceed using their uploaded certificate. | |
| GMST/SAT Score | After submitting the required documents, applicants’ documents will be verified by the committee, after which eligible applicants will proceed to the Gadjah Mada Scholastic Test (GMST). |
| Applicants who already possess a valid SAT score may use it as a substitute for the GMST. After document verification by the committee, applicants with an SAT score may still choose to take the GMST, and this option will be provided in the system. | Stage 2: Interview |
| Interview | Based on the results of the Stage 1, selected applicants will be invited to proceed to the Interview stage. |
Admission Requirements
- Scanned copy of a valid ID card (e.g., KTP, passport)
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Motivation Letter
- Scanned scores of SNBT UTBK, or SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test), or high school academic transcripts (semester 1 – semester 5). For international students, high school institutions must have equivalent qualifications to A-Level or International Baccalaureate or be endorsed by the Indonesian Embassy in the country of origin. The transcripts must be in English.
- English Proficiency Certificate: Institutional TOEFL PBT (500 or above), TOEFL iBT (61 or above), IELTS (6 or above), Duo Lingo (110 or above), AcEPT (268 or above). Please note that Applicants must meet the minimum English proficiency score set by the specific study program, which may exceed the scores mentioned above. It is highly recommended to consult the respective program's website for detailed information, as requirements may vary across programs.

Admission Pathway
Account Creation and Registration
- Register and create an account at admissions.ugm.ac.id
- Complete the required data and upload supporting documents in the registration account. Ensure that all information provided is correct and complies with the upload requirements before clicking Finalize Registration.
- Applicants may edit their data as long as they have not clicked Lock Data and the registration period is still open.
Verification by the Selection Committee
- All submitted data and supporting documents will be verified by the Selection Committee. This stage is the Desk Evaluation.
- Applicants are advised to regularly check the verification status in their respective accounts after finalize the registration, as test-related information will be provided there.
- Applicants whose English proficiency certificates are verified may choose to use the certificate for the selection process or to take the AcEPT. Applicants whose certificates are not verified are required to take the AcEPT.
- Applicants who upload an SAT score and whose score is verified may choose to use the score for the selection process or to take the GMST. Applicants who do not upload an SAT score are required to take the GMST.
Test
- The selection schedule will be stated on the Test Card, which can be printed after registration finalization and completion of the verification process.
- The test will be conducted on-site at UGM for intake 1 and 3, and Online for intake 2. Detailed information on the test time and location will be provided on each applicant’s Test Card.
Interview
- Applicants who pass Stage 1 will be invited to proceed to Stage 2, the Interview.
- Invitations are usually sent via WhatsApp or email. Applicants are advised to check regularly.
Final Announcement
- The final results will be announced in each applicant’s account on the scheduled announcement date.
Certificate of a valid English proficiency test result (issued within the last 2 years). The committee only accepts results from the following English proficiency tests:
